The DFB president and the citizens of Augsburg are not on the side of Ozil

Reinhard Grindel, the president of the German Football Association (DFB), admitted he had made mistakes in communicating and presenting the situation surrounding Mesut Ozil`s photo with the Turkish president, but dismissed the accusations of racism. On Sunday, Ozil announced his career in the German national team for his photo history, criticizing the federation, its leader, Grindel, the fans and the media, for having a double standard for people of Turkish descent. Once again, he spoke in support of the photograph taken by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the reactions reinforced the impression of anthorathism in Germany. `I`m sorry that the situation has got a racist flavor, we in the German Football Association have never supported such behavior as I personally, so I do not accept such accusations!` Grindel said. A little earlier, Augsburg newspaper Algemaine Zeitung published the results of a study they ordered on the same case. The poll was made among newspaper readers and randomly selected citizens with a question:Is there a racist moment in the attitude towards Mesut Ozil? Two-thirds of respondents, or exactly 66. 6%, believe that criticism of Ozil has nothing to do with his origins but is the result from how to buy soccer tips of his weak play.
