Series A with a double deal on TV rights

The Italian Football League sold IMG`s international television rights for the sum of 371 million euros per season, almost double the previous deal. The agreement covers the next three seasons in the A series and ends in 2021. The previous deal wore 190 million in Italian football. With the new contract, Series A is ranked third in Europe on the value of television contracts after the English Premier League (1, 3 billion) and Spain`s La Liga (636 million euros). Fourth in value are the rights to the German Bundesliga, which cost 240 million euros.
