Shakhtar Donetsk knocked out of Champions League groups, once stuck on the third place of the retreating giants Real Madrid and PSG. Now they are eager to make a dent in the Europa League and forget the few weak matches that made in the League of the rich. The big question is in what form Shakhtar Donetsk is up to date since the Ukrainian championship according www.soccer-tips.org is paused and the team`s last match was on 16 December 2015 - they defeated PSG with 0:2 in the Champions League. A few days ago the team of Mircea Lucesku make a boring scoreless tie against the Danish Randers FC, but this match may not give an accurate score for the game of Shakhtar Donetsk. The home team broke up with one of the most powerful players in January - the Brazilian Alex Teixeira, who went to China. So the main role must be taken by his countrymen and Barnard Tajson Dentinho.
Schalke 04 no loss in previous encounters in the competition, as in the group stage finished on the first place while remaining behind the teams of Sparta Prague, Asteras and Apoel Nicosia. But now they will have a collision with a far stronger rival and things are not the way they were in groups. In the Bundesliga the Royal Blues are on the 5th place, having been in a fierce battle for a place in the top 3. In the four meetings after the resumption of the Championship in Germany - Schalke 04 registered 2 wins and 2 losses, as the game`s ebbs and flows.
